Adding nodes
Right-click an empty spot on the canvas to open the node palette.

- Type into the search box to filter (Japanese and English both work)
- Or browse the categories (Input / Filter / Compose / Path / Solid / Model / Output / Transform / Animation, and more)
- Press ☆ to favorite a node so it ranks higher next time
- New nodes are placed where you right-clicked

Connecting nodes
- Drag from an output port (right side of a node) to an input port (left side) to create an edge

- Ports are typed, distinguished by color and shape (Image / Float / Color / Path / Model / Solid...). Incompatible types will not connect
- The type-color legend (
Ctrl+Alt+T, in the left toolbar) lists every type and its color

- Connections trigger automatic re-evaluation; downstream previews refresh on their own
Editing parameters
- Select a node to edit its parameters in the inspector
- Numbers use sliders or direct input, angles use knobs, colors use a color picker
- Some parameters are also shown directly on the node (collapsible)
- Hover the ? next to a parameter name for an explanatory tooltip
Previews
- Every node shows a thumbnail preview
- The selected node can be inspected at actual size or zoomed in the inspector (pixel art renders pixel-perfect, without smoothing)
- If rendering feels slow, disable node previews individually or in bulk
Copy, duplicate, undo
- Nodes support copy / paste / duplicate and Undo / Redo
- Right-click with two or more nodes selected for a bulk-action menu
- Shortcuts and how to remap them: 13 Settings & Shortcuts
Tabs
- Open multiple projects side by side in tabs (
Ctrl+Nfor a new tab) - Closing a tab with unsaved changes asks for confirmation
